The Waterings is set in two acres of landscaped grounds which include a, croquet lawn, water garden, mediterranean style garden and picnic areas with benches and tables.

The ambience of the Waterings tranquility extends to the area's magnificent coastline with secluded beaches, the closest being just 15 minutes walk away and coastal walks.

Other activities for the adventurous include boat trips, canoeing, surfing, rock climbing and abseiling.
